In recent years, FF Skagen has carried out the by far most significant investment in the company's history. Both factories in Skagen and Hanstholm are modernized with new machinery and process plants from the inside out.

FF Skagen's sizeable modern process plant is located directly at the quayside in Skagen - always ready to receive fresh fish from more than 50 Danish and foreign trawlers and cut off from the fillet industry. All catches are analysed and approved before the raw material goes on to the isolated raw material tanks.

In 2014, FF Skagen A/S took over the fishmeal factory in Hanstholm. The factory is today an independent production unit in the FF Skagen Group, which in this way has strengthened its overall position in the world market. This ensures that Hanstholm will remain an attractive sales channel for fisheries in the Nordic region in the future.
